News from Dwight and Sharon Blackstock about their life, work, faith and Great Dane, Kierkegaard (aka "Kirk").
Dwight and Sharon met in northern Wisconsin in June 1971 and were married the following November. He is a Presbyterian minister, currently on disability due to a back injury, but still preaches occasionally. She is a records administrator for the City of Lakewood, Colorado, a suburb of Denver. They have a lovable and very large 145-lb Great Dane "puppy", born 5/31/04, named Kirk (short for Kierkegaard), two sons, two daughters-in-law, and 11 grandchildren.
So, how come guys never smile in pictures?! They were facing the hot sun so these "smiles" are more like grimaces, but we enjoyed a leisurely visit with son Marcus this morning over coffee. Nice to catch up.
